Captain Jerzy Radomski on his yacht "Czarny Diament" (“Black Diamond”) has sailed nearly 240 000 Nm, which is like 11 times circumnavigating the globe or 32 000 Nm more then the distance from the Earth to the Moon! This is the longest cruise in the history of Polish sailing!
He was born in July 22, 1939 in Klewan. Occupation - vagabond, learned profession - electrician. Husband of Barbara, father of 3 children (Mariusz, Magdalena , Sarah) and grandfather of four grandchildren (Susan, Matthew, Miriam, Michael). He is yacht Captain, sailing instructor, diver (advanced) and mountain climber (climbing in Australia , Africa, Europe ).
Captain Radomski was honored with the prestigious Conrad Award 2007 for Maritime Individuality. Three times he was the winner of the Cruise of the Year Award (1986, 1995 & 2010 Silver Sextant for the great sailing vagabond in the years 1978 - 2010 on s/y Czarny Diament across all the oceans).
In 1970 he was the head of expeditions to Africa and the Canary Islands on the yacht "Chrobry".

s/y Czarny Diament (steel ketch, Length: 15.85 m, Width: 4.35 m, Draught: 2,70 m, Sail Area - 100 m2, Gross tonnage: 21.33 tons) was designed by the constructor Kazimierz Michalski on the basis of Capt.
